mantras.

i have so many mantras.
i use them everyday in my constant efforts to be nothing short of absolutely positive. i am a lover of the written word. words. phrases. in books, magazines, walls or blogs, words stop me in my tracks. i am one of those that is always digging around in the bottom of my bag looking for a pen and something to write on so i can record these wonderful words.

thought i'd share a few of mine with you.
and maybe you'll share a few of yours with me.

no longer lend your strength to that which you wish to be free from. {this one is huge for me}

leap and the net will appear. {as an artist, there is always that practical side that makes you second guess your creative thoughts...this mantra tells me to go with my heart and leap}

focus on what you want, not what you don't want. {i am a true believer that what you give your attention to grows, so seriously, let's stop focusing on what we don't have, i.e., straight hair, perfect legs, money, etc. let's focus on what we do have, be grateful for it, and give our energy to what we want to see more of in our lives}

ask, believe and you will receive. {it doesn't matter who you're asking, God, a friend, a family member, your boss, your neighbor, a lover. ask for what you want, you'll be surprised how many times you receive when you simply remember to ask}.

change your thoughts, change your life. {impatience is a sign of hurrying; hurrying is a sign of worrying; worrying is a sign of fear; and fear is a sign that you have forgotten that it's never to late to change your thoughts and therefore, change your life}

be mindful. {along the lines of 'be here now'. it's really easy to be two places at once. when you are in the moment. you're mindful. it's amazing how things change. if you're with your sweetie, be with (him, her) don't think about the housework, kids, work, etc. i know you've heard this before, but try it and see what a difference it makes to feel everything and be in the moment not to be two places at once}

please email mantras to tenthingsjewelry@gmail.com
{and maybe a little note as to what they mean to you.
please leave your link, too and i'll post them on monday}.

mantra monday. of course.
