linda rodin.

Do you now linda rodin?
{beauty guru and fashion stylist}.

i've been aware of her for some time, but today i did a little digging,
watched this video and then read a few articles.
i think she is really cool and has such a great outlook
on beauty, style and aging.
i have always had the thought that no matter how old i am,
i will always embrace my true style,
regardless of what others wear.
i have always dressed for my self.
at 47, i still wear 501 destroyed denim,
band tees, biker boots,
studded belts and tons of jewelry.

it's refreshing to see that someone of her age {63!}

is not only super cool
and wears what she likes,
but is busy implementing ideas for her
expanding beauty line, Rodin Olio Lusso
as a girl constantly inspired with creative ideas,
i love the fact that creativity and style
is who you are,
no matter what age you are.
you don't have to be 20 something
to be a hipster.

what do you think about linda rodin?

  1. She is fabulous! I hope I look half as good when I reach that age!

    1. Elisa, you are and always will be beautiful!

  2. oh what a great looking woman! but I am also a big fan of Lauren Hutton. Some time ago I was thinking, if it's still ok to wear Chucks - because I am 43 now.
But then I thought that there is no matter what others think - I wear my beloved Chucks and old destroyed jeans even further in the coming years - as long as I feel good with it.
Great post, thanks for sharing ;o)

    1. Geisslein, Lauren Hutton is, and aways will be, my favorite role model for being a beautiful, confident, older woman. I love that she hasn't had any work done on her face...that's what I am aiming for. I love my converse, too and still wear them. Confidence and beauty is wearing what makes you feel good!

  3. Thanks for the comments girls, I have missed blogging and I'm happy to be back.
