hauntingly beautiful.

hauntingly beautiful artwork by mademoiselle mu.

  1. Kerri - I lived on Maui for six years!

As far as food goes, I definitely recommend visiting Paia town - lots of good options there for meals out. My favorite place for dinner is Flatbread Pizza (where we'll be having our wedding dinner in April). Crepes at Cafe Des Amis are good as well. Also, if you have a freezer where you're staying, definitely pick up some Rosalani Haupia ice cream from the grocery store... the best coconut ice cream you'll ever have! Paia is also home to - in my opinion - the best natural foods store ever, Mana Foods. :)

If you've never been to the Kula Ali'i Lavender Farm (where we might get married), stop by during a visit to upcountry Maui and pick up some lavender lemonade and scones. Delicious!

These are just the first things that came to mind. I've also been on a few really great hikes but wouldn't know how to direct you to them... if you're interested, let me know and I'll reach out to my mom (who still lives on Maui) to get some suggestions. :)

  2. Thanks for all those great ideas and places Cameron! I'll be printing this to take with us!
